As I put Hannah to bed last night:
Me: (praying) "Lord, give Hannah a heart for You and a desire to make You known to the people in the world who don't know about You."
Hannah: "Do people in Asia know about Jesus?"
Me: "Some of them do. Many of them don't."
Hannah: "Okay, I guess I can be a missionary to the country of Asia someday." (shrugs her shoulders)
Me: "That's cool. How exciting! Do you know that Asia is not actually a country but a continent? There are lots of countries on the continent of Asia - like Russia, China, Japan, India, Mongolia..."
Hannah: "Mon-gol-a-WHAT?"
Me: "Mongolia"
Hannah: "That's a funny name."
Coming off the past seven weeks of our Perspectives class and the past four days of a pretty amazing missions conference at our church, this conversation especially blessed my heart.
Speaking of Perspectives, tonight's class is open to anyone. You can visit tonight just to check it out if you are interested. I'd highly encourage it. Click HERE for directions.
Lastly, I posted another chapter to our love story blog. Believe it or not, it's about when the Lord called me to go to Asia. (Okay, technically it was Europe, but the majority of Russia is in Asia.) Click HERE to go to that blog or HERE to be taken to just the latest chapter.

Love that story. Thanks for sharing with us. I remember once when Ryan was about 4 years and just being introduced to the fact there are Nations who don't know about Jesus; one night he said, "Mommy, what if I'm supposed to marry a Chinese woman? Except she's in China so she's never been able to know Jesus?" It touched my heart and broke my heart all at once!
Thank you very much for sharing this inspirational story.
